2018年06月28日Old glass windows are being restored28.06.2018, Saxony-Anhalt, Naumburg: Ivo Rauch, project manager, and Sarah Jarron, director of the glass restoration workshop, examine a conserved glass panel in the west choir of the Naumburg Cathedral with a depiction of the apostle Bartholomaus (above) and his adversary Astyages. The windows belong to the valuable stock of glass of the Naumburg West Choir from the late 13th century. Since December, the magnificent windows of the West Choir have been restored by a team of experts and pravently secured. It is expected that the first window will be ready and installed at the beginning of October. As in almost no other place masterpieces of glass art from the 13th, 14th and 15th centuries have been preserved in Naumburg Cathedral.
