    11 September 2018, Mecklenburg-West Pomerania, Rostock: Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay, Chairman and CEO of Genting Hong Kong, and Manuela Schwesig (SPD), Prime Minister of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, put coins in one of the carriers under the first section during the festive keel-laying ceremony for the first Global Class cruise ship at the shipyard in Warnemünde. The “Global 1“ will be able to accommodate up to 9,500 passengers, more than any other cruise ship on the international market. The luxury liner will be 342 meters long and 20 decks high.
