The cable-stayed bridge will link Brazil to Paraguay with a total length of 760 meters and a span of 470 meters. The construction of the bridge began on August 7, 2019 and should be completed in August 2022. The work is a partnership between the government of Paraná, the federal government and Itaipu Binacional and is being carried out by the Paraná Department of Highways (DER) .
