The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms has filed a lawsuit today in the Federal Court of Canada challenging the mandatory use of the ArriveCAN app. The lawsuit was filed on behalf of 11 Canadians, including some who were allegedly fined up to $8,500 for not using the app. According to a press release from the organization, the legal challenge is seeking to strike down the mandatory use of the app and to declare the mandatory quarantine requirements for Canadians who refuse to use the app as unconstitutional.
