    Chemnitz plant installs new types of filters

    20 August 2018, Germany, Chemnitz: The chimney of the cogeneration plant north, painted with seven colours as part of an art project by the French painter Daniel Buren. The energy supplier “eins energie in sachsen GmbH & Co. KG“ is installing a new technology from the American manufacturer Gore for cleaning the flue gas. This reduces the emission of toxic mercury from 19 to 10 micrograms per cubic meter. According to the manufacturer, this is the first plant in Europe with such a technology in a power plant.
