「新華社」香港警察、条例改正に関する騒ぎで計１１１７人逮捕

中国香港警察は２日の定例記者会見で、条例改正に関する騒動で合計１１１７人を逮捕していると発表し、過去３日間の逮捕者は男性１３２人、女性２７人の計１５９人で、年齢は１３～５８歳。違法集会や攻撃用武器の所持、警官襲撃、警官の公務執行妨害などの疑いが持たれていると明らかにした。香港警察は次のように発表した。８月３１日に暴力分子が香港の多くの主要道路を勝手にふさぎ、多くの地区で交通渋滞が起きた。さらに一部暴徒は香港各地で放火や公共の民生施設の破壊に及び、少なくとも１００発近くの火炎瓶を投げた。夜には香港地下鉄（ＭＴＲ）太子駅の捜索で、警察は火炎瓶を押収した。放火は非常に重い罪であり、最高刑は終身刑とされている。８月３１日午後には、銅鑼湾（コーズウェイベイ）で暴動罪を犯した疑いのある１６人が西九竜裁判法院（刑事裁判所）に出廷した。太子駅で逮捕された１３歳と３３歳の男性もそれぞれ少年法庭（少年裁判所）と九竜城裁判法院に同日出廷した。また、先週末の治安維持行動で警官２人が負傷したがいずれもすでに退院した。８月３１日の治安維持行動で、警察は合計２４１発の催涙弾、９２発のゴム弾と１発のビーンバッグ弾、１０発のスポンジ弾を撃った。同日午後９時ごろ、２人の警官がビクトリア公園付近で取り囲まれ、銃を奪われそうになったため、空に向けて２度の威嚇射撃をした。９月１日に暴力分子が空港の交通を大規模に妨害し、ＭＴＲの駅で破壊行為を行い、妨害を禁じる臨時命令に違反したことは、法廷軽視の罪に該当する可能性がある。過去２日で９０以上あるＭＴＲ駅のうち３分の１が程度の異なる破壊を受け、一部列車サービスが妨害された。香港は現在、正義を踏みにじる社会的大災害にさらされている。恣意的な道路封鎖や放火、公共施設の破壊、火炎瓶の投てきなどの凶暴な行為は、いかなる文明社会でも決して受け入れられない。制御を失った凶暴な行為は香港の法治を損なうばかりか、香港を取り返しのつかない深淵に引き込み、すべての人々がそれら行為の被害者となりうる。警察は引き続き他の法執行部門と連携し、職務を忠実に尽くし、香港を正しい軌道に引き戻す。（記者／仇博、周錦銘、黄国保、杜瑞）＜映像内容＞香港警察のデモに関する定例記者会見、撮影日：２０１９（令和元）年９月２日、クレジット：新華社／共同通信イメージズ
