    中国河南省安陽市でこのほど、大型で緻密な彫刻が施された漢白玉(大理石の一種)製石棺床を持つ隋代の墓が発見された。専門家は墓が極めて高い組積技術と彫刻技術を持つことから、隋代の美術工芸研究の新たな実物資料になるほか、民族と宗教融合の研究に重要な意義を持つとしている。出土した墓誌により、隋の開皇10(590)年に麴慶(きく・けい)夫妻を合葬した墓だと分かった。墓の形状は磚室(せんしつ、れんが造りの墓室)石棺床墓だった。棺床の各部には各種図案が彫刻されていた。屏風型の図案には被葬者の日常生活や宗教故事が描かれ、正面2カ所の格狭間(こうざま)には霊獣が彫られていた。格狭間の両側には楽器を持つ人がおり、棺床の両端には神の王が配されていた。いずれもゾロアスター教の風格が色濃く表れていた。安陽市文物考古研究所の孔徳銘(こう・とくめい)所長は、被葬者の麹慶に代表される麹氏一族について、隴西地方(現在の甘粛省)で長期間生活し、シルクロードの要路を勢力下に収め、欧州や西アジア、中央アジアの文化の影響を深く受けていたと説明。「墓内の棺床とそれに施された仏教とゾロアスター教の影響の色濃い数十個の浮き彫り図案は、シルクロードの東西文明が互いに交流し、影響を与え合ったことを歴史的に証明している」と述べた。墓誌には丁寧で美しい筆跡で麹慶と夫人の出身と生涯が書かれていた。麹慶は歴史書の記載がないことから、墓誌は隋代の文字の変遷と書道芸術の研究の新たな証拠となるだけでなく、歴史を補う価値も持つ。墓からは、種類が豊富で精巧な作りの相州窯の白磁も多数見つかった。孔氏は、隋代の安陽相州窯が非常に高い焼成技術を持っていたことを示していると説明。相州窯磁器の研究の空白を埋めるとともに、中国の白磁の起源と発展における貴重な実物資料になると語った。(記者/史林静、李文哲、袁月明) =配信日: 2021(令和3)年1月5日、クレジット:新華社/共同通信イメージズ
