Historical water wheel is created as a model

26 February 2020, Saxony, Freiberg: View of the Reiche colliery, a research and training mine of the Technical University. The mine receives a working model of a water wheel underground. The model, which in addition to the actual wheel also shows the so-called “art of driving“ for passenger transport in the mine shaft, will be part of the “SilberBoom“ exhibition at the 4th Saxon State Exhibition (25 April and 01 November 2020). Under the motto “Boom. 500 years of industrial culture in Saxony“, this makes the industrial development of the state tangible. The venue in the Rich Colliery will shed light on the mining tradition and its future in equal measure. Photo: Hendrik Schmidt/dpa-Zentralbild/ZB、クレジット:ZB/DPA/共同通信イメージズ
