    Homo georgicus, Dmanisi D2700 cranium and D2735 jaw, about 1.8 million years ago. Cast of fossil skull found at the open air site of Dmanisi, Georgia in 1999. Dmanisi provides evidence for a very early presence of the genus Homo outside Africa. They were small-brained hominids with a small body size.
