The Government of the Republic of Indonesia through the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries arrested five foreign fishing vessels from Vietnam that stole fish in the Indonesian Exclusive Economic Zone (ZEEI) in the North Natuna Sea, on Friday 9 April 2021. Five foreign ships and 28 crew were then escorted to the Pontianak Marine and Fisheries Resources Monitoring Station for further processing.
