-Spain, Extremadura, Cáceres province.Spain, Extremadura, Cáceres province. On 9 October 1881, King Alfonso XII (1857-1885) visited the mining town of Aldea Moret, taking advantage of the trip to the nearby city of Cáceres, where he had come for the inauguration of the Madrid-Lisbon railway. The village (at present it is a district of Cáceres) was called Moret as a tribute of gratitude and appreciation to the distinguished orator and economist Segismundo Moret y Prendergast (1833-1913). The population of Aldea Moret worked in the phosphate mines, which, although they were known many years ago, were not exploited until September 1876. Thanks to his influence, Moret managed to get a branch of the railway to the mine mouth, so that the phosphorite could be distributed throughout the country. Parade of the workers before the king. 2021年03月30日Florida News - March 30, 2021March 30, 2021, PALMETTO, Florida, USA: A view of a phosphogypsum stack at HRK Holdingsââ¬â¢ property off Buckeye Road on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, in Palmetto, Manatee County, where wastewater is suspected to be leaking at the old Piney Point phosphate plant in Palmetto, records show. Florida environmental officials are allowing HRK Holdings to discharge some of the water at Port Manatee on Tampa Bay to prevent ââ¬Åa potential catastrophic failure.ââ¬Â The emergency order from the Department of Environmental Protection comes after HRK Holdings reported last Thursday that it had found a leak at the site, a state spokeswoman said.
