３月１５日、張掖市甘州区靖安郷のロバ飼育基地で、病気のロバにミルクを飲ませる飼育員を手助けする普賢さん（右）。普賢さんは１９８４生まれ。本来の専門は建築学だが、２０１５年に故郷である中国甘粛省張掖市甘州区の靖安郷でロバの飼育基地を立ち上げた。「２０１５年は母の体調が思わしくなく、阿膠（山東省東阿県で作られる上質のにかわ。漢方薬などに用いる）を買ってあげた時に阿膠の価格が高騰したことから、ロバの飼育には未来性があると思った。」普賢さんは、商機に気づいてから山東省、新疆ウイグル自治区などへ実地調査に行き、まずはロバの赤ちゃん３００頭を購入して、起業の第一歩を踏み出した。ロバは３００頭から現在の３千頭まで増え、普賢さんは独学でロバ飼育に関する知識を学んでいる。彼はまた、山東省と新疆ウイグル自治区の企業数社と提携関係を結び、ロバ乳、ロバの皮、ロバ肉などの農産物を続々と売り出していくという。ここの数年、彼が帰郷しロバを飼育し始めてから、２００余りの農家もロバを飼育するようになった。普賢さんは２０１６年に張掖市の「イノベーションと創業・行動する青年」先進個人と呼ばれる名誉な賞を受賞している。（張掖＝新華社記者／範培珅）＝２０１８（平成３０）年３月１５日、クレジット：新華社／共同通信イメージズ

2019年08月04日２００年の歴史誇る「影絵芝居」内モンゴル自治区巴林左旗４日、内モンゴル自治区巴林左旗の影絵芝居研究協会工房で、ロバの皮で影絵人形を制作する影絵使い。中国内モンゴル自治区赤峰市巴林（バイリン）左旗に伝わる影絵芝居は、河北省灤州（らんしゅう）市を起源とし、２００年以上の歴史を誇る。伝承と変容の過程で、モンゴル族の文化や契丹（きったん）・遼文化を徐々に組み込んでいった。中原の農耕文化と草原の遊牧文化が融合した産物だ。ここ数年、無形文化遺産保護の取り組み強化に伴い、巴林左旗では影絵芝居研究協会が設立されるとともに、「大遼双星」や「遼太祖伝奇」などの新演目も制作され、地元の人々から好評を博している。「巴林左旗影絵芝居」は２０１１年、第３期国家級無形文化遺産リストに登録された。（赤峰＝新華社記者／彭源）＝２０１９（令和元）年８月４日、クレジット：新華社／共同通信イメージズ

中国新疆ウイグル自治区ホータン地区では、大企業がけん引し、大衆が広く参加するロバ産業が急成長を遂げている。ロバの皮は薬用、肉は食用、乳は優れた栄養食品となることから、貧困脱却を産業面から支援している。砂漠の辺縁部に位置する同地区は、気候が乾燥し昼夜の気温差が大きい。一方で広大な面積と古くからの家畜飼育の伝統は、ロバ産業を発展させるうえで強みを持つ。同地区のロバの飼育頭数は現在、全国の１割を占めており、規模のメリットが生まれている。ロバの飼育が比較的集中する同地区グマ県では、貧困家庭が無料で支給されたロバの飼育を企業に委託している。企業が飼料コストを負担し、貧困家庭は毎年、雌ロバの乳と子ロバを収益として得ている。（記者／張嘯誠）＜映像内容＞ロバの飼育の様子、撮影日：撮影日不明、クレジット：新華社／共同通信イメージズ
