    元収容者たちが祝賀会 使命を終えた巣鴨プリズン

    5月30日に最後まで残っていたBC級戦犯18名が仮釈放され、巣鴨プリズンはその使命を終えた。この日午前11時半から、全戦犯釈放の感謝祝賀パーティーがプリズンの職員演舞場で開かれ、かつて収容されていた元戦犯や関係者約300人が出席。写真左後列手前から、冒頭のあいさつに訪れた愛知揆一法相、賀屋興宣、左前列手前から4人目に荒木貞夫、一人おいて星野直樹、右手手前から2人目に佐藤賢了の各氏。GHQによる巣鴨プリズンの接収も解除され、これに先立つ5月15日、東京拘置所が同地に移転した=1958(昭和33)年6月21日、東京都豊島区
