東京大学の石川正俊教授とオムロンは、毎秒１０００回と高速で手探りして精密作業するロボットハンドを開発した。３本指を高速制御して仮想的な力覚を与えた。人間が指先で微調整してはめ込む作業を再現。クリアランス（隙間）が１０マイクロメートル（マイクロは１００万分の１）しかない挿抜作業を０・３秒で遂行した。今後ハンドの先に付ける爪を工夫し作業の幅を広げていく。２関節の指を３本備えたロボットハンドを開発した。各関節の角度を１０００分の１秒周期で測り、１０００分の１秒周期で制御をかける。指令値と現在値の差を最小化するＰＤ制御で、柔らかく対象をつかむことができる。さらにハンドの中央に高速カメラを配置した。作業経過を１０００分の１秒間隔で撮影し動きを調整する。精密挿抜では円柱や角柱にリングをはめる作業をロボットで再現した。リングが円柱の端に当たって角度がずれると、ずれを戻すように３本指を調整する。人間が指先の感覚で、はまる角度を探る動きを高速に再現する。従来は力覚センサーを用いても処理に時間がかかり、挿抜に１―２秒かかっていた。精密組み立ての自動化ではロボや治具を含めて位置精度を１０マイクロメートル以内に保つのは難しい。ハンドや制御で対応できると精密作業の幅が広がる。＝２０１９（令和元）年１１月２７日、撮影場所不明、クレジット：日刊工業新聞／共同通信イメージズ

日本リニアックスの業界最小クラスの６軸力覚センサー「ＴＦＳシリーズ」

日本リニアックス（大阪市北区）は、業界最小クラスのロボット向け６軸力覚センサー「ＴＦＳシリーズ＝写真」を開発した。産業用ロボットハンドの指先に搭載し、対象物を繊細につかむための力加減を制御できる。ハンドの指先の小型化に対応することで、用途範囲の拡大を狙う。今春にも発売予定。産業用ロボットやヒューマノイドロボットなどへの採用を見込む。直径１２ミリメートル、高さ１５ミリメートルの円柱形状。同社従来品「ＴＦＳＡシリーズ」と同等程度のサイズだが、ケーブルとの接続部分の突起形状を無くし、完全な円柱形状とした。指先が小型化したロボットハンドにも対応しやすい。力の検出方式として独自の「薄膜ひずみゲージ式」を採用。一般的なひずみゲージ式に比べて約４倍の高感度化を実現し、高精度に力加減を制御できる。ＴＦＳシリーズの発売に合わせて、ロボットの腕や手首向けの６軸力覚センサー「ＬＦＳシリーズ」のラインアップも拡充し、直径６０ミリメートル製品を新たに追加する。国内のロボット向け力覚センサーで高シェアのワコーテック（富山県高岡市）などと差別化する。日本リニアックスはニチコンの子会社。＝２０１９（令和元）年１２月１９日、撮影場所不明、クレジット：日刊工業新聞／共同通信イメージズ

「新華社」海事部門、風力発電所建設現場のパトロール強化福建省莆田市

中国福建省莆田（ほでん）市の平海湾Ｆ区洋上風力発電所プロジェクトでこのほど、１本目の大口径モノパイル（円柱状の１本杭）の海底への打ち込みに成功し、工事が再開後の重要な節目を迎えた。地元の海事部門は、潜在的な安全上の問題を徹底的に調査するとともに、現場での巡回を強化することで、航行秩序を保つとしている。同プロジェクトは、同省の第１３次５カ年計画（２０１６～２０２０年）の重点プロジェクトで、同市秀嶼区の南日島南部海域に建設し、合計出力２０万キロワット規模、２０２１年に完成予定だ。今回打ち込まれたモノパイルは、長さ６２メートル、直径６・７メートル、重さ７４０トン。現時点で、中国国内の洋上風力発電所に使われるモノパイルとしてはかなり大きいもので、打ち込みが成功したことで、プロジェクト全体の建設が大きく進展したとともに、洋上風力発電設備建設に関する多くの経験を蓄積している。（記者／郭圻）＜映像内容＞風力発電所の工事の様子、撮影日：撮影日不明、クレジット：新華社／共同通信イメージズ

神秘的な「翼をもつ天使像」壁画が語る新疆の仏教文化
