  仮設住宅の集会所から「ヤー」という活気あふれる声が聞こえてきた。週１回２時間ほど行われている健康教室だ。約７年前に開設され、ダンベルなども取り入れて本格的な体力づくりを目指す。参加者は２０名ほどで平均年齢は約７０歳。震災後に中断していたが「笑う機会がなくなった」「落ち込むことが多い」などの声から、コミュニケーションの場も兼ね昨年９月に再開した。自宅で被災した伊藤ミツ子（７３）さんは「溺れていた夫を引っ張り上げ、助けることができた。健康体操のおかげ。命の恩人です」と笑顔を見せた＝１８日午後、宮城県山元町

  ベトナム学校の元学生が命の恩人の中国人医師に宛てた感謝の言葉。（８月７日撮影）中国広西チワン族自治区桂林市の広西師範大学育才キャンパスに、１９５０～７０年代に中国に建てられたベトナム学校とベトナム人留学生の生活や学習の歴史を記録した「ベトナム学校記念館」がある。１９６８年９月に建てられたベトナム学校の旧校舎が利用され、２００９年に完成、開館した。五つの展示ホールからなり、面積は２千平方メートル。毎年１０以上のベトナムのハイレベル代表団を迎え、中国国内から訪れる代表団も後を絶たない。ベトナム学校の開設は中国の対ベトナム援助の重要な一環となった。抗仏・抗米戦争中、ベトナムは同自治区などに２度にわたり学校を移転させ、うちの７校が桂林市に設けられた。記念館ではベトナム南寧育才学校、ベトナム桂林育才学校、ベトナム廬山育才学校、ベトナム陸軍軍校、中国語文専修学校、グエン・バン・チョイ少年軍校、グエン・バン・ベイ学校、武氏六学校の８校の歴史や学生の生活の記録を写真や実物で展示している。８校が育成したベトナム人学生（一部のラオス人学生を含む）は１万人以上。ベトナム共産党書記長となったレ・カ・フュー氏らベトナム共産党中央政治局委員５人、副首相４人、将軍３０人以上、さらには著名な作家や詩人、歌手、高級エンジニアなど、国家の重責を担う多くの人材を輩出した。ベトナム学校記念館は中越両国民の深く厚い友情を記録し、中越友好関係の歴史の証となっている。２０１７年、広西チワン族自治区の文物保護単位（文化財）に指定された。（桂林＝新華社記者／藍建中）＝ 配信日： ２０２４（令和６）年１０月１６日、クレジット：新華社／共同通信イメージズ
