The flight will follow NASA certification after a successful uncrewed Orbital Flight Test-2 and Crew Flight Test with astronauts. 2020年01月08日Networked cars drive on new test track in Lower Saxony08 January 2020, Lower Saxony, Cremlingen: Karsten Lemmer (l-r), DLR Executive Board member responsible for Energy and Transport, Björn Thümler (CDU), Science Minister of Lower Saxony, Bernd Althusmann, Transport Minister of Lower Saxony, Katharina Seifert, Director of the DLR Institute of Transport Systems Technology, and Thomas Jarzombek, the German government‘s coordinator for German Aerospace, open the ‘Lower Saxony Test Field‘ on the A39 motorway in the district of Wolfenbüttel. On the way to automated driving, networked cars are to be tested on a new test field near Braunschweig. For this purpose, 71 masts have been erected on the A 39 motorway, which are also used to record and analyse driving behaviour and traffic flow. Once it has been completed, the Lower Saxony test field will extend over approximately 280 kilometres on the A2, A39, A391 motorways and several federal and state roads.
