On the soleplate is a trapezoidal elevation plateau, which is supported at the front with two hooks by a bolt that passes through the two cheeks. The rocking horse has a breast piece with a breast valve and an adjusting wedge. The ash struts are attached to the cheeks with brackets that can be removed. The wooden wheels are double, the front wheels are larger than the rear wheels. The barrel has a concave elevation, a visor on the middle decorative band and a front band, a refraction ring and a feather screw through the grape. The upper carriage has a light trapezoidal body with brass fittings and rings, the front and back are rounded. Against the rear the box in brass fittings, on top of the track for the elevering screw and at the front the ears through which the tapas runs, the vertebral bolt is missing. The lower carriage is a wooden window, rounded at the front, with a slot for the vertebral bolt and partly with brass fittings and equipped with a spindle bolt resting in a block, a securing plate is fitted on the underside slightly to the rear.     Model of a Gun and Carriage, Model of a cannon on a tilting spout. The wooden barrel, 39.3 cm long, is of the front loader mantle-type with six mantles, and has a refraction ring. The soul, which is not grooved, has a caliber of 24 mm. The case consists of two parts: the upper case has two cheeks, the underside of which is cut into a curve and provided with teeth, which run in racks on the cheeks of the lower case. The upper chaff can tilt over on the lower chaff. The cannon lies with its taps in the rear corners of the cheeks of the upper chaff, so that the piece is lifted when the upper chaff is tilted forward, and sinks when tilted backwards, the upper chaff is provided with a counterbalance tank at the front. A pair of rods between the breech and the lower faff hold the gun in horizontal position, and is connected to an elevator in the lower faff for vertical aiming. The cheek horse‘s cheeks, with four steps and an elliptical cut-out at the bottom, are further apart than at the front and are connected by the calf, the ashes and a crossbar in between, and moreover by two bolts that go through the cheeks. The chest piece, the adjusting wedge and the elevation platform, which must be supported at the front on one of the bolts and at the rear on the soleplate, are missing. The rear ash body is wide and immediately serves as a soleplate. The front wheels are slightly larger than the rear wheels. The second role horse consists of two parts. The barrel, 57.1 cm long and with a caliber of 40 mm, has a refraction ring with a loose cap, a visor with an attachment rod at the rear, a visor at the height of the taps and a percussion lock that hits at an angle, the grape is flat. The upper chaff, narrower at the front than at the rear, consists of two cheeks with two staircases connected by a sloping calf and the ashes, the elevation screw is in the rear axle body. Metal axles run through the axle webs, where the double wheels are fitted at the ends.     March 20, 2019: The Full Moon at the equinox, on March 20, 2019, reaching full phase only fours hours after the moment of the vernal equinox, and here captured rising very shortly before the moment of the Full Moon. I shot this while the Moon was still rising and in a deep blue sky, and tinted yellow from atmospheric absorption.     March 25, 2019, Wheatland County: Messier 44, the Beehive or Praesepe star cluster in Cancer, through the 105mm Astro-Physics Traveler apo refractor with the Hotech field flattener for f/5.8 and in a stack of 11 x 4-minute exposures at ISO 800 with the Canon 6D MkII camera. Taken on a slightly hazy night on March 25, 2019, thus the natural star glows – the cluster is not surrounded by nebulosity! ..However, the sky is clear enough that some of the very faint IC, UGC, and PGC galaxies in the field show up. Most are 15th to 17th magnitude. ..I’ve punched up the star colours with a star mask. Stars tightened with StarShrink filter. Diffraction spikes added in post with Astronomy Tools actions. Images manually stacked and aligned as the difference in star positions at the bottom of the frame due to atmospheric refraction (the field was low in the west) made it impossible for Photoshop to align the images accurately.
