    中国香港特別行政区尖沙咀(チムサーチョイ)の有名観光スポット「アベニュー・オブ・スターズ」がこのほど、3年半のリニューアル期間を経て一般公開された。現地でリニューアル記念式典が行われ、香港金像奨最優秀主演女優賞の受賞者である葉童(イップ・トン)、羅蘭(ロー・ラン)、呉君如(サンドラ・ン)、毛舜筠(テレサ・モウ)、鄭裕玲(キャロル·チェン)が新たに手形を刻んで「アベニュー・オブ・スターズ」に登録した。リニューアルした「アベニュー・オブ・スターズ」は、スターの手形プレートを地面から遊歩道の欄干に移し、観光客が見やすいように改良。手形プレートの数は107枚から117枚に増え、人気アニメのキャラクター「マクダル」と、香港金像奨最優秀主演女優賞の受賞者9人の手形が加わった。記念式典が行われた30日には、葉童、羅蘭、呉君如、毛舜筠、鄭裕玲が会場で両手の手形を刻み、手形プレートを欄干に移し「アベニュー・オブ・スターズ」の一員となった。工事を担当した新世界発展有限公司によると、リニューアル後の「アベニュー・オブ・スターズ」はビクトリア・ハーバーの景色と映画の要素を融合し、文化芸術、快適性、ロマンを一体化させたウォーターフロントのランドマークとなっている。新しい「アベニュー・オブ・スターズ」では、銅像の囲いを取り払い、観光客が銅像のそばで撮影できるようにした。また、李小龍(ブルース・リー)と梅艶芳(アニタ・ムイ)の銅像は今回の一般公開から台座に噴水が施され、前者は李小龍が創始した「截拳道」(ジークンドー)の「水の哲学」を、後者は舞台に立った梅艶芳の姿をそれじれ演出する。「アベニュー・オブ・スターズ」にはデジタルテクノロジーも組み込まれており、来場者は手形プレートの横にある2次元バーコードをスキャンするだけで、スターのプロフィールやショートムービーを見ることができる。ここを歩くと香港映画の旅が始まる気分が楽しめる。(記者/林寧、万後徳)<映像内容>香港の「アベニュー·オブ·スターズ」の風景、撮影日:撮影日不明、クレジット:新華社/共同通信イメージズ

    中国河南省鄭州市で行われている第12回「漢語橋」世界中高生中国語コンテストの決勝で、西日本地区代表の大窪綾香さんと東日本地区代表の村越大輝さんが、中国文化技芸の項目でそろって中国武術を選択した。「漢語橋」と銘打ったこの中国語コンテストは、孔子学院本部が主催して世界規模で実施されている。今大会には105カ国から120人余りの出場者が集まり、今年度の世界チャンピオンや大陸チャンピオンの他、複数の部門賞を選出する。中国武術は両選手にとって、中国文化を最も直接的に理解できるルートで、世界各国の選手たちにも人気が高い。大窪さんは「中国武術は最初、学校の先輩から学んだ」と語った。一方、村越さんは動画を通じて先生の指導を受けながら剣術を独学。村越さんの口からは、李小龍(ブルース・リー)や成龍(ジャッキー・チェン)などカンフースターの名がすらすらと出てきた。技芸パフォーマンス終了後、選手たちは少林寺や有名な塔溝武術学校を見学した。中国の隣国である日本の中国語学習環境は他国より恵まれている。ほとんどの出場選手の母国には中国語学校が1カ所しかないのに対し、大窪さんが通う高校には選択科目に中国語がある。村越さんは父親に付いて上海で3年生活していたことがあり、流ちょうな中国語を話す。中国武術から始まった中国語との縁は、若者2人の人生の選択も変えつつある。大窪さんは、中国語をマスターすることで大学入試の厳しい競争でも優位に立てると話す。村越さんは将来、どの国の大学に進学したいかを問われると、即座に「中国の大学」と答えた。(記者/任卓如)<映像内容>第12回「漢語橋」世界中高生中国語コンテストの決勝、撮影日:撮影日不明、クレジット:新華社/共同通信イメージズ
