    「新華社」日本オリンピック委員会会長、賄賂の指摘を改めて否定

    日本オリンピック委員会(JOC)の竹田恒和会長は15日、2020年の東京五輪招致時に票の買収に関与したとされる問題について東京で記者会見を開いた。会見で竹田氏は、賄賂を通じて東京の2020年五輪開催権を獲得しようとしたことを否定するとともに、日本の法に反する行為はないと述べた。8分に満たない記者会見を終えると、竹田氏は記者の質問に答えることなくその場を去り、現場の記者からは不満の声が上がった。竹田氏が2020年五輪開催権獲得のための贈賄に関与したという疑惑をめぐっては、フランスの金融検察局がすでに昨年12月10日に正式な調査を開始しており、検察当局が竹田氏を正式に起訴できるか否かを判断すべく、証拠調べをしているという。2013年9月、東京は2020年の五輪開催権を獲得した。報道によると、日本の五輪招致委員会は2013年7月と10月にそれぞれシンガポールのコンサルティング企業ブラック・タイディングス社に計280万シンガポールドル(1シンガポールドル=約80円)を振り込んだという。この企業は2014年7月に閉鎖されている。フランス検察当局は2016年初めにこの2度の支払いについて調査し、竹田氏が贈賄の決定を承認し、東京の五輪開催権獲得をほう助しようとした疑いをかけている。フランス検察当局はまた、ブラック・タイディングス社とラミン・ディアク国際陸上競技連盟前会長の息子であるパパマッサタ・ディアク氏が関係を持っていたと認定している。この親子は収賄の疑いでフランス司法当局の調査を受けており、そのうちパパマッサタ・ディアク氏は国際指名手配されている。竹田氏はこの経費について2017年に日本の司法機関から質問を受けていた。JOCも費用を振り込んだことを認める一方で、あくまで「合法的なコンサル料」と主張している。竹田氏は15日、JOCが2016年5月に賄賂の有無を調査する調査チームを設置、同年9月には振り込んだ費用に違法性はなかったとの結論を公表したと述べた。竹田氏はまた、フランス当局に全面的に協力し、自らの身の潔白を証明するために最大限の努力を尽くすとの姿勢を示した。JOCの広報担当者は、現在フランスが調査中であることを理由に、竹田氏は記者の質問への回答を差し控えるとした。(記者/梁賽玉、鄧敏)<映像内容>JOC竹田恒和会長の会見の様子、撮影日:2019(平成31)年1月15日、クレジット:新華社/共同通信イメージズ
