November 15, 2020, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia: Cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) in Sydney Zoo, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The cheetah is a large cat native to Africa and Southwest Asia. It is the world‘s fastest land animal and Africa‘s most endangered big cat, capable of running at 80 to 98 km/h. Cheetahs are covered almost entirely with small black spots on a background of pale yellow and have a white underbelly. Their faces are distinguished by prominent black lines that curve from the inner corner of each eye to the outer corners of the mouth, like a well-worn trail of inky tears. Today, cheetahs are found in the wild in several locations in Africa, and a tiny population of another subspecies, the Asiatic cheetah, is found in Iran...、クレジット:©Tara Malhotra/ZUMA Press Wire/共同通信イメージズ

Mycalesis Perseus - Dingy Bushbrown - Animal India

The Dingy Bushbrown (Mycalesis perseus) is a species of satyrine butterfly found in South Asia and Southeast Asia. On the upperside, the wings are dark grayish brown with a large but obscure ocellus on the forewing. The male has a small, dark brown sex brand in the space of the forewing and another on the hindwing overlaid with a pale yellow hair tuft. Adults fly low in and around grassy patches at several locations across the island. As with other Satyrinae members, the adults fly in an erratic and jerky manner as their wings are closed for a relatively long period during flights. A Dingy Bushbrown (Mycalesis perseus) or Common Bushbrown butterfly is camouflaged like a dry leaf in a forest in Tehatta, West Bengal, India, on October 9, 2024.
