    日本バイタル(埼玉県川口市)は、太陽光を減衰せずに室内へ取り込める装置「カイセイ=写真」を開発した。太陽光を自動追尾するシステムで太陽光を集め、独自開発の光ファイバーで太陽光をそのまま室内に運ぶ。植物工場や高齢者施設、地下施設などの用途を見込む。同装置の販売をテコに3年以内の新規株式公開(IPO)を狙う。カイセイは集光機、光ファイバー、散光機で構成する。昆虫が太陽光の波長や光量で花を見つけていることにヒントを得て、太陽光を追尾する「虫の眼センサー」を開発。太陽光を効率的に集める。さらに石英ガラスの光ファイバーを開発し、触媒の配合量などを調整することで光をそのまま運べるようにした。6本連なる光ファイバーは1キロメートルまで伸ばせ、500平方メートルを照らせる。サイズは縦約2×横約2×高さ約2・5メートル。価格は500万円(消費税抜き)から。熊本県内のビルや駅舎に採用されており、売上高約1億円の実績がある。赤外線や紫外線カットにも対応する。現在は海外で生産しているが、年内に国内生産に切り替える。夏をめどに家庭向け小型サイズも発売する予定。価格は25万円(同)から。「太陽光の集光装置市場は約200億円規模になる。このうち20%のシェアを獲得したい」(横沢社長)とする。=2019(令和元)年12月19日、撮影場所不明、クレジット:日刊工業新聞/共同通信イメージズ
