    単純ヘルペスウイルス1型のDNAトラクトタンパク質の原子分解能3次元構造。(資料写真)中国科学技術大学の研究者はクライオ電子顕微鏡法によりヒトヘルペスウイルスのゲノムパッケージングのメカニズムとウイルスのDNAゲノム構造を初めて解析した。研究成果は5月30日、科学誌「Nature」オンライン版に掲載された。研究は同大学微尺度物質科学国家研究センター、生命科学学院の劉雲濤(りゅう・うんとう)博士や畢国強(ひつ・こくきょう)教授が共同で実施。ヘルペスウイルスの完全な非対称構造を明らかにし、真核生物ウイルスのDNAトラクト原子モデルを初めて取得した他、トラクト内でのDNAのねじれ状態を初めて確認した。(合肥=新華社配信/中国科学技術大学提供)=2019(令和元)年6月4日、クレジット:中国科学技術大学/新華社/共同通信イメージズ
