Koserow pier will be demolished and rebuilt

03 February 2020, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Koserow: A mobile crane is used to dismantle the sea bridge built in 1993 in the Baltic resort of Koserow (aerial photo with a drone). A new pier is to be built by August 2020. It should also rise about 280 metres into the sea, but look completely different from other sea bridges from the Baltic Sea and be barrier-free. According to the plans, the special features are, in addition to a wave appearance in the top view, an almost square bridgehead with a bell tower. The new building is to cost 7.4 million euros. The construction is financed with the help of EU funds. Photo: Stefan Sauer/dpa-Zentralbild/ZB、クレジット:ZB/DPA/共同通信イメージズ

According to the plans, the special features are, in addition to a wave appearance in the top view, an almost square bridgehead with a bell tower. The new building is to cost 7.4 million euros. Construction of a new wind farm

05 March 2020, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Hoort: A special mobile crane is being set up behind temporarily stored rotor blades for the installation of a new wind turbine at the Hoort wind farm south of Schwerin. The park will be completed in the next few weeks. The 16 Nordex wind turbines are being erected on behalf of the operating company Loscon on the A24 motorway. The almost 200-meter-high turbines are to start normal operation in summer and will generate around 120 million kilowatt hours of electricity per year. This is enough to supply an average of 35,000 households. The wind farm covers an area of approximately 228 hectares. Photo: Jens Büttner/dpa-Zentralbild/dpa、クレジット:DPA/共同通信イメージズ
