The clinic will include testing and also treatment for diabetic retinopathy, a condition where blood vessels leak into the back of the eye, and macular degeneration, an eye disease that causes vision loss. One in four diabetics are at risk of vision problems but almost 40 percent of those with the disease do not get vision screening.
