  「新華社」中国の研究者、室内空気が浄化可能な「スマート網戸」を開発

  中国安徽省合肥市にある中国科学技術大学の兪書宏（ゆ・しょこう）教授の研究開発チームはこのほど、短期間かつ低コストで製造可能な「スマート網戸」の素材を開発した。室内の空気浄化効率は最大９９・６５％に達し、５０秒以内に空気中のＰＭ２・５濃度を「深刻な汚染」レベルから「優」レベルまで低減できる。研究成果は米出版社ＣｅｌｌＰｒｅｓｓが発行する学術誌「ｉＳｃｉｅｎｃｅ」に発表された。兪氏のチームは「ディップコーティング・セルフアセンブリー（ｄｉｐ－ｃｏａｔｉｎｇａｎｄｓｅｌｆ－ａｓｓｅｍｂｌｙ）」方式を通じて、従来の業務用ナイロンメッシュ（ポリアミド）を元に、柔軟性があり透明な大面積の「スマート網戸」素材の開発に成功した。約７・５平方メートルの「スマート網戸」製作コストはわずか約１００元（１元＝約１６円）だという。これらの材料は、サーモクロミック顔料と組み合わせることで室内の照度を変えることができるだけでなく、高効率なスモッグ捕集装置として室内の空気を浄化することもできる。「スマート網戸」は、スモッグを浄化した後にエタノールに２０分間浸すだけで元の状態に戻り、再使用できる。実験では、何百回洗浄をくり返した後でも、浄化効率は保たれているという。（記者／曹力）＜映像内容＞「スマート網戸」開発の様子、撮影日：撮影日不明、クレジット：新華社／共同通信イメージズ

  カメムシ大量発生　岡山県内の市街地

  岡山県内の市街地で大量に発生しているツヤアオカメムシ＝岡山市内。「岡山、カメムシ多すぎ」「洗濯物にもカメムシ」。記録的な猛暑となった夏場以降、ＳＮＳ（交流サイト）にこんな書き込みが目立っている。民家の網戸やベランダに干した洗濯物、高層マンションの壁面、ゴルフ練習場の街灯…。そこかしこに群がっている艶のある緑色の個体はツヤアオカメムシ（体長約１５ミリ）だ。触ったり刺激したりすると強烈な悪臭を放つ害虫がことし、岡山県内の市街地で大量発生している。県の調査でその個体数は平年の７倍以上とのデータもある。＝２０２３（令和５）年１０月１９日、岡山県岡山市、クレジット：山陽新聞／共同通信イメージズ
