    「新華社」偃師商城で商代最古の水路跡を発見河南省洛陽市

    中国河南省洛陽市にある商(殷)代の都城遺跡、偃師(えんし)商城遺跡に、これまでに発見された商代の都市水路の中で最も古く、最も整備された水路があったことが、最新の考古学研究で明らかになった。偃師商城発掘チームを率いる中国社会科学院考古研究所の陳国梁(ちん・こくりょう)副研究員によると、偃師商城の内部水路は主に排水用で、外部水路には護城河(堀)とその外側を南北に流れる2本の川があった。内外の水路を循環させることで、都市の安全性や排水・洪水対策を確保したほか、宮殿エリアに3千平方メートル近い水面面積を持つ庭園を持つ美しい景観を実現したという。同遺跡は1983年に発見された。総面積は約2平方キロメートルで、大城と小城、宮殿の三重の城壁からなる。城壁や堀、城門、府庫(国家の文書・財物の保管場所)、穀倉、手工業作業場などの遺構が出土している。商の湯王が夏を滅ぼした後に築き、約200年間使用された。学術界では、同城の築城が夏王朝と商王朝の年代境界とされている。遺跡の調査では、小城エリアで異なる時期に造られたとみられる東西方向の水路2本が確認された。宮殿エリアの雨水を同エリアの外側を囲む水路に排水し、さらに幹線水路に合流させて城外に排出していたと思われる。(記者/桂娟、李文哲、袁月明)=配信日:2021(令和3)年1月27日、クレジット:新華社/共同通信イメージズ

    「新華社」古代エジプト王妃の葬祭神殿見つかるサッカラ遺跡

    エジプトギザ県のサッカラ遺跡で発掘調査を行っていた同国の合同考古学発掘隊は17日、4300年前の第6王朝の初代ファラオ・テティ王の王妃の葬祭神殿を発見したと発表した。発掘隊の責任者で、エジプトの著名考古学者ザヒ・ハワス氏は「2010年にこの地でピラミッドを発見したが誰の墓だか分からなった。16日に葬祭神殿が見つかり、残されていた文字から神殿とピラミッドの被葬者が『ネイト』という名で、テティ王の王妃であることが分かった」と説明した。ハワス氏によると、テティ王の王妃はこれまで2人とされてきたが、今回の発掘で3人目の王妃の存在が確認された。ネイト王妃の名は今回初めて古代エジプトの歴史に記されることになるという。(記者/李碧念、余福卿、楊依然) =配信日: 2021(平成33)年01月20日、クレジット:新華社/共同通信イメージズ

    「新華社」浙江省で上山文化の考古学成果展1万年の稲作の歴史を実証

    中国浙江省博物館の孤山館区精品館で15日、同省で発見された新石器時代文化「上山文化」に関する考古学成果展が開かれた。浙江省文物考古研究所と浙江省博物館、浦江県人民政府、上山文化遺跡連盟が浙江省文物局の指導の下で主催し、上山文化の最新の考古学的成果を2カ月間展示する。同省浦江県にある上山遺跡は2000年に発見され、2005年に上山文化と名付けられた。中国の長江下流と南東部沿海地区で年代の最も古い新石器文化で、その歴史は約1万年前にさかのぼる。浙江省文物考古研究所などの機関はこれまで、省内の銭塘江流域と霊江流域で上山文化に属する遺跡19カ所を発見した。これらの遺跡は、中国さらには東アジア地域で最も規模が大きく、最も分布が集中した初期新石器時代遺跡群を形成している。会場では、大口盆や双耳罐(そうじかん)、土器杯、土器碗、石磨盤、石磨棒など上山文化で1万年前に稲作が行われていたことを示す遺物を見ることができる。中でも「万年米」は1万年前のコメで、上山遺跡から出土した。上山文化の考古学上の最大の貢献は、稲作の起源が中国にあることを実証した点にある。同展では、上山遺跡の他にも義烏市の橋頭遺跡や仙居県の下湯遺跡から出土した器物も展示している。うち橋頭遺跡から出土した彩色土器は9千年の歴史がある。上山文化の稲作と彩色土器については、著名考古学者の厳文明(げん・ぶんめい)北京大学教授もかつて、共に「世界初」の名にふさわしいと評している。(記者/馮源) =配信日: 2021(平成33)年01月17日、クレジット:新華社/共同通信イメージズ
