    「新華社」重さ数千トンの列車が橋を洪水から守る中国四川省

    中国四川省ではこのところ、豪雨が続き、綿陽市涪江流域の水位が急速に上昇し、同省成都市と陝西省宝鶏市を結ぶ宝成鉄道が通る涪江大橋に影響が出た。洪水によって川の水位が橋まで達すると、横方向の衝撃で橋が押し流される可能性がある。中国鉄道成都局集団公司は11日、洪水が最高水位に至った際に橋脚の安定性を保つため、45両を上回る大型貨物列車2本を橋の上に停車させ、列車の重量によって橋の自重を増やし、水流の衝撃に対する安定性を高める方法を採用した。今回使用された列車は砕石運搬車で構成されており、各車両に積まれた鉄道用砕石の重量は約70トンに上った。重量列車を橋に配置してから約5時間後、川の水位は次第に速度制限水位まで下がり、2本の列車も綿陽北駅に戻った。(記者/薛晨)重さ数千トンの列車が橋を洪水から守る中国四川省<映像内容>橋を走る大型貨物列車、撮影日:2018(平成30)年7月11日、クレジット:新華社/共同通信イメージズ
