    半世紀前の気動車が福岡へ 寄付で解体免れ動態保存

    クリーム色の車体に赤のラインが入った1966年製の気動車「キハ2004」が3日、茨城県のひたちなか海浜鉄道から福岡県の鉄道愛好家グループに無償で譲渡され、同県福智町の平成筑豊鉄道金田駅でお披露目式が開かれた。解体予定だったが、平成筑豊鉄道のOBらが「守る会」を立ち上げて輸送や補修に充てる約890万円の寄付を集め、金田駅構内での動態保存を実現した。   <映像内容>セレモニーの様子、エンジン始動、出発進行、列車の移動、関係者の記念写真など。

    「北海道新聞」道産子ラッセル車健在 青森県の弘南鉄道

    青森県津軽地方南部の私鉄、弘南鉄道(平川市)を、国鉄時代の苗穂工場(札幌市東区)で昭和初期に製造された2両が現役で走る。雪国の鉄路維持に活躍するほか、重厚で独特の風貌が鉄道写真愛好家らの人気を集め、弘南鉄道の知名度と収益アップに貢献している。ラッセル車は1937年製の「キ105」と29年製の「キ104」。動力が無いため自走できず、電気機関車が押す。こちらも26年製と23年製の〝古豪〟だ。10年ほど前から、ラッセル車は除雪以外に、鉄道愛好家らの撮影用に貸し切り運転も行い、新たな収入源になっている。<映像内容>ラッセル車の走る姿、内部の様子、写真を撮る鉄道ファン、撮影日:2017(平成29)年12月5日、撮影場所:青森県平川市、クレジット:北海道新聞/共同通信イメージズ

    Hong Kong MTR Opens Full Tuen Ma Line

Today the MTR crop unveiled the Tune Ma Line By merging the existing West Rail and the Ma On Shan lines at Hung Hom, via two new stations at To Kwa Wan and Sung Wong Toi, the Tuen Ma Line links the East and West New Territories.
