２０１１年５月２日、津波で全壊した宮城県気仙沼市の「気仙沼第一聖書バプテスト教会」（左）。木で十字架を組んだ数日後、流されていた教会の白い十字架が見つかった。１５年に高台に再建され当時の十字架も敷地内に立つ。嶺岸浩牧師（右から４人目）は「宗教は希望を与えるもの。開かれた教会を目指したい」と話す
