  「新華社」福建省平潭総合実験区の海に幻想的な「青い涙」が出現

  中国福建省平潭総合実験区北港村で１８日夜、「青い涙」と呼ばれる現象が見られた。「青い涙」の正体は植物プランクトンの一種のヤコウチュウ（夜光虫）、藻体はほぼ球形をしており海に生息する。ヤコウチュウが大量発生すると、夜に波などの刺激を受けて青い光を放ち、きらきらと輝く。海水を離れた「青い涙」が生存できるのは１００秒足らずで、エネルギーの消失とともに輝きを失い、その命が尽きる。（記者／林凱）＜映像内容＞ヤコウチュウの大量発生、発光の様子、撮影日：２０２０（令和２）年３月１８日、クレジット：新華社／共同通信イメージズ
