包公園の廉泉。汚職官吏や不正な心の持ち主が廉泉の水を飲むと吐き下し、清廉な者が飲むと何も起こらないと伝えられている。（資料写真）中国安徽省合肥市包河区は、北宋の名臣、包拯（ほう・じょう）のふるさととして知られる。同区にある包公園は包拯を記念するため設置され、２００６年に国家４Ａ級観光地（上から２番目のランク）に指定されている。包拯は清廉潔白で公正無私な姿から、「包青天（ほうせいてん）」や「包公（ほうこう）」と呼ばれて親しまれ、その生涯は多くの民間伝承や戯曲、映画、テレビドラマで取り上げられてきた。同園では包拯に関する講座が相次いで行われ、参加者は現地見学や講義を通じ、「清廉な風」を感じている。毎年１００万人以上の観光客が訪れ、中国本土だけでなく香港・マカオ・台湾地区、シンガポールやタイなどからの人々も少なくない。（合肥＝新華社配信）＝ 配信日： ２０２３（令和５）年１１月２８日、クレジット：新華社／共同通信イメージズ

2025年05月25日パラオの伝統的なダンス 南の島の風を感じて大阪・関西万博の「ナショナルデー」で披露された、太平洋の島しょ国パラオの伝統的なダンス。ココナツの葉を使った衣装を身にまとう男たちが、航海やサバイバルなどのテーマを力強い踊りで表現した。ダンサーは人口４０人ほどのソンソロール州から来日したグループ。観覧していた、パラオ人の父を持つ奈良県の女子高生は「すごくすてきで、かっこよかった。ソンソロールは亡くなった父の故郷で、出演者に知り合いがいっぱい」と感慨深げ。ステージに大きく手を振ると、気付いたダンサーも優しい笑顔で応じていた。
