    「新華社」上海の崇明島、長江経済ベルトに「画竜点睛」

    長江は世界で水上輸送が最も盛んな河川の一つで、中国を東西に貫く欠くことのできない生態系回廊でもある。長江河口に位置する崇明(すうめい)島は、中国で3番目に大きな島であり、長江経済ベルトの環境保護において「画竜点睛(最後の仕上げ)」の役割を果たしている。渡り鳥が飛来するかどうかは、自然環境の優劣を判断する上で重要な指標となる。崇明島の東灘(とうたん)鳥類国家級自然保護区は渡り鳥の重要な越冬地であり、世界有数の野生鳥類生息地のとなっている。2002年にはラムサール条約湿地にも登録された。恵まれた自然条件のおかげで、同保護区に生息または飛来する渡り鳥は毎年100万羽近くに達する。その種類は記録されているだけで290種余りに及ぶ。長江経済ベルトの発展で、グリーン(環境配慮型)発展は要となる。長江の沖積によって崇明島は形成された。「鳥たちの天国」近くには「大風車」がある。長江河口に位置する崇明島は、水や風が清らかで、風力エネルギーや太陽光エネルギー、バイオマスエネルギー、潮汐エネルギーなど各種の再生可能エネルギーが豊富に存在している。再生可能エネルギーによる発電を行うには理想的な場所と言える。ここは崇明島東灘に位置する風力発電所。気象データの統計や分析によると、崇明島の年間風力利用可能時間は平均約2000時間で、東から西に向けて逓減(ていげん)傾向にあるため、再生可能エネルギー発電を行うのに理想的な場所とされる。崇明島には現在、110基以上の大型風力発電機が設置されており、フル稼働時には島全体の最大負荷電力の7割を賄うことができる。<映像内容>長江の生態環境、渡り鳥飛来、撮影日:撮影日不明、クレジット:新華社/共同通信イメージズ
