    「香港ウォッチ&クロックフェア」が9月4日、開幕した。世界25カ国・地域からの830の出展者が、さまざまな腕時計、置時計、パーツ、スマートウォッチなどが展示された。エナメル(琺瑯)は伝統的なエナメル技法に用いられるガラス質の釉(うわぐすり)。一般に宝飾品や装身具に使用されるが、香港の時計ブランドは文字盤の制作にエナメルを使用した。担当者によると、エナメル文字盤の制作は非常に難しく、工程全般が手作業で行われ、制作には3~4カ月を要し、成功率はわずか1割という。「比翼双飛」はブランドの代表的な作品で、文字盤の表と裏の両面にエナメル技法が施されていて、表面にはトゥールビヨン(重力の影響で生じる誤差を自ら補正する特殊機構)を置くために2つの丸い穴が開けられている。エナメルは薄くてもろいので、このデザインを仕上げるのは極めて難しい。【解説】もう一つの香港ブランドは、先にデザインで名を馳せて、その後ブランドを設立した。創業者は「バレエ・ウォッチ」のデザインで、2016年の香港時計デザインコンテストで優勝し、その後、自身の時計ブランドを立ち上げた。【解説】女性が着用しやすいように、デザインが改良された。時計部分は電池で動くクォーツ製のムーブメントを搭載。バレリーナの装飾部分は機械装置を使用して、時計を腕につけている限り、バレリーナが回転し続けるようにした。(記者/陳其蔓、周錦銘)<映像内容>香港ウォッチ&クロックフェア展示会の様子、撮影日:2018(平成30)年9月4日、クレジット:新華社/共同通信イメージズ ※白素材有り要問い合わせ
