  カンタム・ウシカタの自動殺菌ロボット「ＵＶＤロボット」

  カンタム・ウシカタ（横浜市都筑区）は、紫外線で雑菌やウイルスを殺菌消毒する自動殺菌ロボット「ＵＶＤロボット＝写真」を１４日に発売する。自律移動ロボットに１８０ワットの殺菌灯を搭載し、３６０度全方向に照射する。英国の病院では２日かかっていた殺菌作業が７７分に短縮した。クルーズ船やエレベーターなどの感染症対策に提案。価格は約１３００万円から。２０２１年度に６億円以上の売り上げを目指す。位置推定と地図作成を同時に行う「ＳＬＡＭ」技術で施設の間取りを把握する。地図上に殺菌ポイントを指定すると走行ルートを自動生成する。走行速度や停止場所は細かく調整できる。殺菌灯の寿命は１万２０００時間。ロボットは電池で３時間稼働する。黄色ブドウ球菌は３メートル離れた２０秒間の照射で滅菌された。機体はデンマーク・ＵＶＤロボッツ製で総代理店契約を結んだ。医療機関に加え、大規模オフィスや公共交通機関などに提案する。風疹など通勤者が媒介する感染症への対策になる。＝２０２０（令和２）年２月１０日、撮影場所不明、クレジット：日刊工業新聞／共同通信イメージズ

  ナイトライド・セミコンダクターの医療用殺菌灯向けＬＥＤ

  ナイトライド・セミコンダクター（徳島県鳴門市）は、波長２７５ナノメートル（ナノは１０億分の１）の深紫外線発光ダイオード（ＬＥＤ）モジュールを開発した。新型コロナウイルス感染症に対応している医療現場の殺菌灯などの用途で、既存の紫外線（ＵＶ）や水銀ランプからの置き換え需要を取り込む。ナイトライドが４月中旬をめどに発売するのは「高出力深紫外線ＵＶ―ＬＥＤモジュール」。深紫外線ＬＥＤチップを放熱性の高いアルミニウム基板上に１６個実装するなどで、光の出力は０・２９ワットと同社モジュールの従来比約１０倍の高出力化を実現した。寿命は約５０００時間。価格は１００枚からの量産受注時に１枚当たり６０００円（消費税抜き）。年間３億円以上の販売を目指す。開発したモジュールは２０ミリメートル四方で厚さは４ミリメートル。病院の集中治療室（ＩＣＵ）での殺菌ランプ用などに提案する。国立病院機構仙台医療センター（仙台市宮城野区）のウイルスセンターで大腸菌や黄色ブドウ球菌などの細菌とインフルエンザウイルス、ノロウイルスの不活化は検証済みという。今後１カ月以内をめどに新型コロナでも検証する予定だ。医療現場の殺菌灯はＵＶや水銀ランプが使われる。ただＵＶランプは寿命が短く割れやすい点があり、２０２１年から国際規制「水銀に関する水俣条約」で水銀を用いた照明も製造、輸出入が禁止される。こうした背景を踏まえて今後、高出力の深紫外線ＬＥＤの普及が見込まれている。＝２０２０（令和２）年３月３０日、撮影場所不明、クレジット：日刊工業新聞／共同通信イメージズ
