    Tons of table salt after truck accident on the A1

    11 May 2021, Lower Saxony, Neuenkirchen-Vörden: Two trucks are standing at the scene of an accident on the A1 near Neuenkirchen-Vörden in the direction of Bremen, with torn open bags of salt scattered on the carriageway between them. After a rear-end collision with a truck on the A1 near Neuenkirchen-Vörden in the direction of Bremen, the culprit lost tons of salt bags. The white highway had to be completely closed, as confirmed by the highway police in Bramsche on Tuesday evening. A 48-year-old truck driver recognized the end of the traffic jam after a construction site too late, steered slightly to the left and then hit another tractor-trailer. Both drivers were uninjured.
