    Governor Andrew Cuomo announced the construction completion of Jacob K. Javits Convention Center

    May 11, 2021, New York, New York, United States: View of Hudson Yards development from Jacob K. Javits Convention Center expansion as well as green roof. Governor said that the project was completed on budget despite the challenges related to COVID-19. Starting on May 19 as Governor Cuomo he Javits Center will be allowed to host events at 30 percent capacity with safety restrictions in place. New expansion will double the space available for many kinds of events at the center. Green roof is now home for many types of birds as well as stopping resting point for migration birds.
