10日午前9時40分ごろ、福岡県宗像市の大島の沖合約2・5キロで、海上自衛隊の掃海艇「うくしま」から出火し、「エンジンルームから火災が発生し、1人取り残されている」と第7管区海上保安本部(北九州)に通報があった。現場では消火活動が続けられたが火は消えず、翌11日午前0時5分ごろ転覆した。海自は古賀辰徳3等海曹(33)の所在が確認できないと発表。海上幕僚監部内に事故調査委員会を設置し、原因究明を急ぐ。 転覆によって火が消えたため、海保は船内の潜水捜索に向け、潜水士の確保や機材の準備を進めている。準備が整い次第、捜索に当たるとしている。11日朝の時点で、掃海艇は船首を残して大半が沈んだ状態という。 <映像内容>現場海域周辺に展開する海上保安庁の巡視船など、撮影日:2024(令和6)年11月11日、撮影場所:福岡県宗像市沖
