October 8, 2024: Concorde maybe consigned to aviation history, but the supersonic airliner still has a special place in plane enthusiastsââ¬â¢ hearts..One keen planespotter achieved a lifelong dream by obtaining two rare models of Concorde - but is now parting with the 8.9inft (273cm) - which together could be worth as much as ã16,000. . .Steve Fulford, valuer at Hansons Auctioneers in Derbyshire, said: ââ¬ÅThe models are fantastic collectorsââ¬â¢ items. They were commissioned for promotional purposes by British Airways in the 1960s/70s and both were displayed at Harrods in London in the 1970s and 80s, Concordeââ¬â¢s heyday. . .ââ¬ÅOnly a handful were ever made. Our vendor managed to acquire two of them after waiting for 25 years. One of his models is thought to be unique...、クレジット:©Cover Images/Cover Images via ZUMA Press/共同通信イメージズ ※United Kingdom Rights OUT

Rare Giant Concorde Models Could Sell For £16,000
