「新華社」ウマグマ４頭同時出現甘粛省の祁連山で希少映像

中国甘粛省の祁連山国家級自然保護区管理センターはこのほど、巡回中の職員が国家２級保護動物のウマグマ４頭が活動する様子を撮影したと発表した。映像には、母グマが３頭の亜成体の子グマを連れてゆっくりと走る姿や、時折振り返って周囲を確認する様子が映し出されている。撮影者によると、当初ウマグマたちは近くに車がいることに気づかず、ゆっくりと前進していた。撮影者はすぐにカメラを取り出して撮影を開始したという。やがて母グマは人の気配に気づき、３頭の子グマを引き連れて山の谷間へと移動した。４頭が同時に撮影されるのは極めて珍しいという。ウマグマは、世界でも最も希少なヒグマの亜種の一つで、個体数は世界で８００頭未満と推定されている。中国の青蔵高原における生態保護の重点対象でもある。雄の成獣の体長は平均１・８〜２・２メートル、体重は２００〜３５０キロで、雌はやや小柄である。赤外線サーモグラフィーを使った研究では、鼻部に特殊な血管分布があり、寒冷地でも優れた嗅覚を保てることが確認されている。（記者／張智敏）＝配信日：２０２５（令和７）年６月３日、クレジット：新華社／共同通信イメージズ

A top Hezbollah military commander was killed in an Israeli air strike on the Lebanese capital Beirut on Friday, in a major escalation that has added to fears of an all-out war. Hezbollah confirmed Ibrahim Aqil‘s death after Israel said he was one of several senior Hezbollah figures killed in the strike. Earlier, Lebanese officials said at least 14 people were killed and dozens injured in the strike that hit the densely populated Dahieh area, a stronghold of the Iran-backed group in the city’s southern suburbs.
