    安家大院に植えられた珍しいナツメ「竜爪棗」。(12月31日撮影)中国天津市西青区の区政府がある楊柳青鎮の歴史は金の貞祐2(1214)年にさかのぼる。当時は柳口鎮と呼ばれ、元の至正3(1343)年に楊柳青の名が付いた。現在の天津市の基となった軍事施設「天津衛」が設けられたのは明代であることから「先に楊柳青あり、後に天津衛あり」という言葉もある。楊柳青鎮には北京と杭州を結ぶ京杭大運河が町を貫くように流れており、清代に乾隆帝が江南へ行幸した際、楊柳青を通ったことから運河の楊柳青区間は御河とも呼ばれる。京杭大運河を含む中国大運河は2014年、国連教育科学文化機関(ユネスコ)の世界文化遺産に登録され、中国で46件目の世界遺産となった。明清時代の楊柳青は経済が繁栄し、地域文化も飛躍的に発展。中国北部の民間芸術の集散地となり、中国四大木版年画の筆頭とされる楊柳青年画のほか、天津や北京で人気が高いたこや剪紙(切り紙細工)などの民間芸術が開花した。楊柳青木版年画の起源は明の万暦年間(1573~1620年)とされ、2006年に第1次国家級無形文化遺産に登録された。楊柳青鎮の估衣街にある石家大院は、光緒元(1875)年創建の大邸宅で、6千平方メートル余りの敷地に延床面積2900平方メートルほどの建物が並び「華北第一の邸宅」「天津第一の家」と呼ばれる。石家大院の戯楼(劇場)は、民間の邸宅に設けられた閉鎖型戯楼としては中国で最も保存状態が良く、最大の規模を持ち、2006年に全国重点文物保護単位(国宝・重要文化財)に指定された。估衣街を挟み石家大院と向かい合う安家大院は、清の同治年間(1862~74年)に建てられ、千平方メートル余りの敷地面積は三つの院落(中庭)に分かれている。2013年に市の文物保護単位(重要文化財)に登録された。楊柳青鎮は2019年2月2日、文化・観光部から「中国民間文化芸術のふるさと」の称号を与えられ、楊柳青古鎮街区は22年1月10日、国家級観光リゾート区に指定された。(天津=新華社記者/藍建中)= 配信日: 2024(令和6)年1月17日、クレジット:新華社/共同通信イメージズ

    中国青海省西寧市大通回族トゥ族自治県にある明代中期に築かれた万里の長城は、最も標高の高い場所にある明代長城遺跡で、省内で最も保存状態の良い区間となっている。現存する主要部分は全長が4万4009メートル、最高地点の標高は4200メートルに上る。2013年に国務院により第5次全国重点文物保護単位(国宝・重要文化財)の「長城」に追加指定され、同県が長城保護機構を設置。ボランティア保護員17人を招き、長城を63区間に分けて近隣の企業や村民委員会などと責任の所在を確認した。県は過去10年で特別資金2千万元(1元=約21円)余りを確保して長城の応急補強プロジェクトを実施、早急に保護が必要な壁体やのろし台、見張り台の補強を進めた。青海省は現在までに西寧区間や大通区間、湟中(こうちゅう)区間などの長城保護プロジェクトに累計1億元以上を投じ、応急補強やインフラ建設に取り組み、長城本体に存在するリスクを確実に排除し、環境と景観を改善してきた。明代長城は万里の長城の重要な一部であり、建造当時の政治経済、軍事を研究する上で貴重な歴史資料であるとともに、地元の特色を示す景勝地となっている。(記者/韓方方、央秀達珍) =配信日: 2023(令和5)年11月15日、クレジット:新華社/共同通信イメージズ
