    「新華社」浙江省が世界に誇る三つの農業文化遺産

    世界農業遺産は、国連食糧農業機関(FAO)が2002年に創設した大型プロジェクトで、世界的に重要な農業文化遺産とそれに関連する景観、生物多様性、知識、文化保護システムの確立を目的としている。中国では18地域が登録されており、その数は世界で最も多い。浙江省では「青田の水田養魚」「会稽山のカヤ林」「湖州の桑基魚塘システム」の三つの世界農業遺産が登録されている。2005年に登録された「青田の水田養魚」は麗水市青田県にある。1200年以上前に形成され、今なお続いている。イネと魚と共生システムの中で、イネは魚に日陰と有機物を提供し、魚は田耕しと除草、土ほぐしと増肥の役割を担い、酸素供給や害虫駆除などの働きをする。このような生態循環システムは、化学肥料や農薬への依存を大幅に減らし、生物多様性を高めるほか、田んぼ生態系の均衡を保ち、高い米の収穫量と魚の水揚げ量を実現している。紹興市の「会稽山のカヤ林」は2013年に登録された。カヤは雌雄異株の常緑針葉樹で、開花から結実するまで3年かかるため、「三代同堂(親子三世代同居)のイチョウ」とも呼ばれる。食用や薬用、搾油、木材、観賞、環境保護などの用途があり、自然資源の改良と利用、自然との調和・共存モデルの典型例とされる。湖州市の「湖州の桑基魚塘システム」は2017年に登録された。地元の人々は洪水排水、かんがい用の水利工事を行い、一年中水がたまるくぼ地を掘削して魚の養殖池に変えた。池をしゅんせつした泥で池の周りに堤を築き、堤に桑を植えて桑の葉を蚕に与え、蚕のふんを魚の餌にし、魚のふんで池の栄養分を高め、その泥を桑の肥料とするという典型的な循環農業システムを作り上げた。(記者/許舜達、孔令杭) =配信日: 2022(令和4)年8月18日、クレジット:新華社/共同通信イメージズ
