    世界貿易機関(WTO)のオコンジョイウェアラ事務局長はこのほど応じた新華社の単独インタビューで、多国間貿易体制はWTOルールの下で世界の発展に卓越した貢献をしているとし、過去数十年で同体制により世界で10億人を超える人々が貧困を脱却したと指摘した。中国については、世界第2の経済大国として多国間貿易の強化に重要な役割を果たしていると強調。中国は一貫して多国間貿易体制の揺るぎない支持者であり、自由で開かれた貿易体系の中で重要な役割を発揮していると語った。WTOはこのほど発表した世界貿易見通しで、2023年の世界のモノの貿易量の前年比伸び率予測を1・7%に引き上げた。22年10月の予測値は1・0%だった。上方修正は中国での新型コロナウイルス対策の持続的な調整が重要な要素になっているとした。中国の経済政策は国内消費の喚起だけでなく、世界の貿易回復を促す上でもプラスとなるとし、中国の好調な貿易がその他の国・地域、特に発展途上国・地域の経済と貿易を発展させるとの見方を示した。WTO加盟国に対しては、多国間貿易体制の維持を強化するよう呼び掛けた。世界は複数の貿易ブロックに分かれるべきではなく、貿易の「デカップリング」や保護主義は時代に合わないと強調した。加盟国に対し、自由で開かれた貿易を維持し、自由貿易によって世界を多重的危機から復活させるよう訴えた。 =配信日: 2023(令和5)年4月20日、クレジット:新華社/共同通信イメージズ

    パナソニックホールディングス副社長で、グループ中国・北東アジア総代表を務める本間哲朗氏が新華社のインタビューに応じた。本間氏は、中国はグループ全体の業績をけん引する重要な市場であり、今後も大きな期待を寄せていくと表明。中国事業の成長目標は中国の質の高い発展目標に合わせるべきだと語り、今後も中国の質の高い発展に貢献していく考えを示した。本間氏は、パナソニックは1970年代末に中国に進出して以降、一貫して中国での事業成長を重視してきたと指摘。現在ではグループ企業70社が中国で各種事業を展開しており、従業員数は約5万2千人に上ると説明した。2022年3月期決算では中国事業が2年連続の2桁成長となり、純利益もグループ全体の3割近くを占めるなど、日本国内の事業に次ぐ大きな柱になっているという。2年連続の2桁成長については、その他の地域を含めても珍しいとした上で、達成の要因として中国が世界でも数少ない発展が見込まれる市場であることを挙げた。中国事業を特に重視する理由は幾つかあるとし、その一つに産業クラスターが密集し、産業基盤が厚く、強く幅広いサプライチェーンを持つことを指摘した。特に新型コロナウイルス感染症の流行期間中は、中国で生産する製品の部品は中国で調達するという取り組みを加速させてきたと説明。中国のサプライチェーンが持つ優位性は容易に変わるものではなく、世界のものづくりでそれを無視して考えることは難しい時代になっていると語った。世界にとっての中国の魅力については、市場大国であるとともにイノベーション大国でもある点を指摘。同社のような製造業にとってはエンジニアリング大国としての地位も特に重要な意味を持つと述べた。中国ではここ数年で毎年約600人の技術者を採用していることも明らかにし、これほど多くの技術者を採用できる国は日本を除けば中国しかないが、それは中国が優れた教育を受けた若者を毎年数多く輩出しているからだと指摘した。パナソニックは中国で20年かけて9千人余りの技術者を育ててきたが、中国での生産規模を引き続き拡大し、持続可能な発展を維持するため、今後も技術者の数を増やしていく考えを示した。中国は40年余りの改革開放を経て、国民の生活水準や消費力が大きく向上したとし、中国事業では今後も低炭素・環境保護やグリーン経済、スマートライフ、健康な暮らしなどの分野を深く掘り下げていく考え =配信日: 2023(令和5)年3...
