    Berlin - Grunewald Tower 03 May 2020, Berlin: The Grunewald tower is a lookout tower on the Karlsberg. Situated on the western edge of the Grunewald forest on the Havelchaussee, it offers a view over the Havel from the viewing platform at a height of 36 metres. Franz Schwechten designed the 55-metre-high tower made of red brick in the style of the Märkish brick Gothic, which was erected between 1897 and 1899 to commemorate the 100th birthday of the Prussian King Wilhelm I, who died in 1888.
