    信州セラミックスの「アースプラス」を使った不織布部分  信州セラミックス(長野県大桑村)は、自社製セラミックス系機能性粉末材料「アースプラス」の増産に乗り出す。同材料は光触媒反応などを利用し、たんぱく質分解作用による抗菌・抗ウイルス機能などを持つという。大手インテリアメーカーの寝具向けに本格採用されたことを受け、増産に踏み切る。2020年6月期の売上高は3億円以上の見込みだが、3年以内に5億円台まで引き上げる。アースプラスは酸化チタンとハイドロキシアパタイト、銀の3成分が主原料。アパタイトが吸着し、たんぱく質を光触媒反応などにより分解する。さらに銀の配合により、暗闇でも分解作用を持つ。今回、大手インテリアメーカーが寝具向けに本格採用した。「秋口には大手スポーツ用品メーカーによる採用も見込まれる」(桜田社長)ことから、21年6月期中にも2000万円以上を投じてアースプラスの製造装置1台を導入する計画だ。信州セラミックスは新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大を受け商談が急増している。アースプラスの供給に余力はあるが、アースプラスを使った不織布などを委託加工する協力工場で生産が間に合わない事態が生じている。19年10月には中国で認可を受け、現地メーカーがマスク製造を始めているが、「アースプラスを含有する不織布の供給が間に合わない」(同)状況だ。同社が製造したアースプラスは協力工場がマスクのフィルター用不織布やマスク自体に加工し、OEM(相手先ブランド)供給している。また、約30社の企業にアースプラスのライセンスを供与し、抗菌や抗アレルギー機能を持つ衣料やアメニティーグッズなどが商品化されている。=2020(令和2)年2月25日、撮影場所不明、クレジット:日刊工業新聞/共同通信イメージズ 「日刊工業新聞」

    コバテクノロジーの銀イオン技術を応用した浄水装置  コバテクノロジー(浜松市東区)は、独自の銀イオン技術を応用した浄水装置(写真)を開発した。河川などの汚水から1時間当たり200リットルの生活用水を生成する。浄水には塩素系の薬剤を使うのが一般的だが、人体により安全とされる銀を採用。災害時用のほか、水事情の悪い新興国への輸出も視野に入れる。同社の特許技術で、抗菌作用のある銀セラミックス体を採用した。浄水の仕組みは、まず凝集剤で重金属混合物を沈殿させ、活性炭フィルターで不純物を取り除く。さらに直径6ミリメートル、同2ミリメートルのボール状の銀セラミックス体を入れた2槽で除菌した後、逆浸透膜フィルターで細かい異物まで除去する。環境計量機関での実験によると、静岡県内を流れる天竜川の水に含まれる大腸菌や嫌気性バクテリアを1時間で全て殺菌。消臭効果も確認した。同装置はタンク容量100ミリリットルと小型で、軽トラックで運べる。消費税抜きの価格は200万―250万円。災害時の風呂やトイレ用の生活用水のほか、工場の冷却水としての利用も想定。取り扱いやメンテナンスも容易で「新興国へも輸出したい」(小林社長)としている。=2019(令和元)年11月13日、撮影場所不明、クレジット:日刊工業新聞/共同通信イメージズ 「日刊工業新聞」
