The sports teacher reached the Brocken after 6 hours and 33 minutes in dry weather, wind and cool temperatures. The 80 kilometre charity ultra-marathon run is organised annually by the “Endurance Sport for Humanity“ association and was held for the 17th time. About 180 runners started in the morning at 06:00 o‘clock in Göttingen. The weather in the Harz Mountains is expected to change fundamentally in the coming days.
