02 April 2020, Brandenburg, Oranienburg: Karin Bitter, teacher at Comenius Primary School in Oranienburg, sits in her empty classroom in front of a laptop. Although there are currently no lessons at school, Karin Bitter comes to her classroom every day for a video conference with her students. Of the 22 students in her third grade, about 12 students a day participate in the video conference, said the teacher. The pupils gladly accept the offer of the video conference in order to stay in contact with each other at all.
