The Prague Castle, the seat of Czech heads of state, temporarily lifted the security checks of all visitors entering its area when the Castle reopens after the closure over the pandemic. Moreover, all Castle premises where visitors had to pay entrance fees will be open free of charge since today, May 29, 2020 until June 1st, 2020. The Prague Castle was closed in mid-March over the novel coronavirus pandemic and subsequent declaration of the state of emergency in Czechia. Under incumbent President Milos Zeman, the access to the Prague Castle was complicated both for Praguers and tourists due to security measures. Personal checks of all visitors to the Castle were introduced at all entries in the summer of 2016, which provoked strong criticism. (CTK Photo/Michal Kamaryt)、クレジット:CTK/共同通信イメージズ
