16 June 2020, Brandenburg, Wriezen: Anne and Steffen Blunk, owners of the “Villa Blunk“ are standing in front of their house. The rural small town of Wriezen is not exactly a hotspot for art and culture. Nevertheless, the newcomers Anne and Steffen Blunk dared to experiment with a gallery of contemporary art. Not only Berliners, but also locals visit the exhibitions. “We are moved by the joy of art, which is an essential part of our everyday life. We want to share this joy,“ says artist Steffen Blunk. Born in Nuremberg, Blunk has lived in Berlin for a long time and has looked for a new home in the Mark Brandenburg province with his family in 2016. He found what he was looking for in Wriezen (Märkisch-Oderland), which has little affinity for art. Photo: Patrick Pleul/dpa-Zentralbild/ZB、クレジット:ZB/DPA/共同通信イメージズ
