28 July 2020, Bolivia, El Alto: People protest with social distancing against the renewed postponement of the presidential and parliamentary elections in the midst of the Corona pandemic. The Supreme Electoral Court had postponed the elections scheduled for 3 May first to 6 September and then to 18 October because of the pandemic. Following the re-election of President Morales on 20 October 2019, the country was riotous. Morales had resigned under pressure from the military. He was accused of election fraud. In Bolivia, an interim government headed by the conservative interim president Anez took over the official duties that were to organise the elections.
