October 5, 2020: 5 October 2020 (Antequera, Malaga) Three skulls may be the key to deciphering the origin of the Antequera Dolmens. The majestic Neolithic constructions declared World Heritage by UNESCO in 2016. A group of archaeologists has found three skulls in the megalithic monument discovered in Antequera, which may have been part of a sacred space for Neolithic communities before the Menga dolmen was built, and they believe there may be more remains, so the excavations continue. The location has been made at the foot of the Peña de los Enamorados, in the area known as Piedras Blancas, in the excavation of a megalithic structure for funerary use, according to the professor of Prehistory of the University of Seville Leonardo GarcÃa Sanjuán (Credit Image: © Lorenzo Carnero/ZUMA Wire)、クレジット:©Lorenzo Carnero/ZUMA Wire/共同通信イメージズ
